BPSC 70th CCE Prelims 2024: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has dismissed “fake and misleading reports” circulating in newspapers and on social media claiming that the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination has been postponed from December 13, 2024, to January 19, 2025. Following the board’s clarification, it is now confirmed that the BPSC 70th CCE Prelims will be held as scheduled on December 13 and 14, 2024. Candidates can check the notification at bpsc.bih.nic.in.

"Misleading and fake information is being circulated on various social media platforms and newspapers regarding extension of the date of conduct of Integrated 70th Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination from 13.12.2024 to 19.01.2025," reads the notification.

"The Commission completely denies all such news and informs that there is no change in the previously scheduled date of 13.12.2024 for the said examination," reads further.

The commission has announced an addition of 70 vacancies to the 70th Competitive Examination. The exam will now be conducted for a total of 2,027 vacancies across various departments of the Bihar government, up from the previously announced 1,957.

The online registration and application process for the BPSC 70th CCE concluded on November 4. Initially, the application deadline was set for October 18 but was later extended.

According to media reports, around 7 to 8 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the prelims examination. BPSC 70th CCE Prelims 2024 exam admit card is expected to be released soon. Candidates are advised to keep checking the BPSC official website for the latest updates.
