CSIR UGC NET 2024 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research-University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) 2024 exam beginning today, July 25. The CSIR NET 2024 exam will be conducted in two shifts on July 25 and 26: first from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and second from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The CSIR NET 2024 exam will be administered via online computer-based testing.
The CSIR NET 2024 will be held online for three hours. The exam consists of 200 objective-type questions spanning mathematical sciences, physical sciences, life sciences, earth, atmospheric, ocean, and planetary sciences, and chemical sciences. Negative markings will be applied to wrong answers.

CSIR UGC NET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines
Applicants can review the CSIR NET 2024 exam day rules below.
- Make sure your most current passport-sized, colour photograph is firmly attached to the admission card.
- Bring your CSIR NET 2024 admission card and a valid original photo identity proof to the test centre. Passports, driver's licenses, voter IDs, PAN cards, and Aadhar cards are all acceptable forms of identity.
- Aspirants who arrive late at the exam centre will be denied access after the gates are locked, regardless of the cause.
- Items prohibited include cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built-in calculators, memory, and any electronic or smart device.
- Aspirants are obliged to remain sitting throughout the exam. Re-entering the test hall after submitting the test is not authorized.
- Any attempt at impersonation or malpractice detected at any level will result in the applicant's disqualification and possible legal action.
