The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the CA Intermediate January 2026 toppers list along with the result declaration. The merit list highlights the top-performing candidates who secured the highest marks in the examination conducted earlier this year.

According to the official merit list released by ICAI, Kanhiya Lal secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 by scoring 508 marks out of 600, achieving an impressive 84.67 percent. His performance placed him at the top among thousands of candidates who appeared for the CA Intermediate examination across the country.

The second position was secured by Fathima Shehza K, who scored 504 marks out of 600, achieving 84 percent. Meanwhile, Vanya Bansal secured AIR 3 with 498 marks out of 600, corresponding to 83 percent. Their outstanding scores reflect the high level of preparation and dedication required to clear one of India’s most competitive professional examinations.
The CA Intermediate exam is the second stage in the Chartered Accountancy course conducted by ICAI. Candidates who successfully clear this stage move closer to becoming qualified Chartered Accountants and can proceed toward the CA Final level after completing the required training and coursework.
Students who appeared for the examination can also check the CA Intermediate January 2026 merit list and results on the official ICAI website by entering their roll number and registration number. The merit list includes the names, ranks, and marks of top candidates who performed exceptionally well in the exam.
