Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026: The Indian Army Agniveer registration deadline has been extended to April 10, 2026, giving students an ample amount of time to complete their application process. Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026: Who’s Eligible?

To apply for the Indian Army Agniveer recruitment drive 2026, candidates must meet the following eligibility parameters.

1. They must be unmarried. 

2. Different posts require different educational qualification The details are as follows:

  • Agniveer General Duty: 10th pass with a minimum of 45% aggregate.

  • Agniveer Technical: 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

  • Agniveer Clerk/SKT: 12th pass in any stream with 60% aggregate.

  • Agniveer Tradesman: 8th pass and 10th pass posts available.

  • Other posts: Soldier Technical, Sepoy Pharma, Religious Teacher, and other roles require higher qualifications.

4. Candidates must be between 17.5 and 21 years of age as of January 1, 2026. As per the rules in the official notification, age relaxation will be granted.

Candidates can follow the given steps to register successfully on the official portal.

Step 1: Go to the official website at joinindianarmy.nic.in. 

Step 2: Click on the “Agniveer Apply/Login” link.

Step 3: Register as a new user or log in with existing credentials.

Step 4: Complete your application form with personal, academic, and contact details.

Step 5: Upload documents and pay the application fee of Rs 250 through online payment modes. 

Step 6: Verify all details carefully and submit the form. 

Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2026: Vacancy & Salary Details 

The recruitment aims to fill more than 25,000 vacancies across various posts. These include:

  • General Duty

  • Technical

  • Clerk

  • Storekeeper

  • Tradesman

Selected candidates earn a monthly salary of Rs. 30,000. 

Indian Army Agniveer Selection Process 2026

The online written exam will take place between June 1 to 15, 2026. Candidates who clear the written test will proceed to the physical tests, followed by trade tests if required. The final selection is done after the document verification and medical examination.
