Mumbai University UG Admission 2026 1st Merit List: The University of Mumbai has officially released the highly anticipated First Merit List today, May 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Candidates who completed the centralised registration process after clearing their Class 12 (HSC) exams can access the allocation status directly via the unified portal. Due to the vast network of affiliated institutions, the university also makes college-wise and course-wise cut-off lists available on the respective websites of its various autonomous and non-autonomous colleges.

This initial allocation marks the beginning of the core counselling process for all standard undergraduate offerings across the university's network. This includes traditional 3-year degree courses, the newly structured 4-year Honours or Honours with Research pathways aligned with modern educational frameworks, and specialised 5-year Integrated UG/PG programs. Candidates who secure a seat in this opening round must move quickly to validate their choices, as the university operates on strict, non-negotiable administrative deadlines.
