UGC NET June Registration 2026 Deadline:  The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for the online registration of the UGC NET June exam 2026. After receiving multiple requests from candidates for additional time to complete the registration process, NTA has extended the deadline till May 23, 2026 (up to 10 AM). Earlier, the last date to submit UGC NET June applications was May 20. Now, candidates have an additional three days to complete their registration process, upload documents, and pay the fee through the official portal at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Candidates must check all details filled in the application form carefully before the final submission. Ensure that all details mentioned are correct and authentic as per the documents submitted.

UGC NET June Registration 2026: Revised Schedule

The agency has further revised the application correction facility. The form correction window will remain open from May 25 to May 27, 2026, allowing candidates to edit the submitted details.

How to Register For UGC NET June 2026?

Follow the given steps to complete your registration process within the deadline:

Step 1: Go to the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the “ UGC NET June 2026” registration link

Step 3: Enter your basic details to register.

Step 4: You will get your registration number and password. Log in and complete the rest of the UGC NET application form.

Step 5: Upload documents and pay the registration fee.

Step 6: Carefully review all filled-in details, then submit.

NTA has also extended the deadline for fee payment. Candidates will now be able to pay the application fee till May 23, 2026, up to 11:50 pm. The fee must be paid via online payment modes such as Credit/Debit/UPI. 

• General/Unreserved: Rs 1,150

• General-EWS / OBC-NCL: Rs 600

• SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: Rs 325

UGC NET June Exam 2026 will be held from June 22 to June 30, 2026, to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor roles and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in Indian universities. The paper will be available in English and Hindi only, except for language subjects.
