UPSC CSE 2026 Registration Date: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) CSE registration window will close today at 6 PM. Earlier, the deadline was February 24, but due to technical issues on the official website, the Commission extended the deadline by 3 more days.

Those who have not yet submitted the application form must apply soon at upsc.gov.in before the official link closes. Candidates with a graduate degree from a recognized university are eligible for the UPSC CSE exam 2026.

UPSC CSE 2026 Registration: Steps To Apply

Follow the given steps to apply before the registration window closes through the official portal. 

Step 1: Go to the UPSC official website at upsconline.nic.in

Step 2: Complete your One-Time-Registration (OTR) or log in with your existing credentials. 

Step 3: Complete your application form with personal, educational, and communication details.

Step 4: Upload mandatory documents, including photographs, signatures, and certificates. 

Step 5: Pay the application fee.

Step 6: Verify all details carefully and then submit the form.

UPSC CSE 2026: Application Fee 

The application fee must be paid through the online payment modes, such as debit/credit/UPI/net banking. Only after the successful payment will the application form be processed.

UPSC CSE 2026 Registration: Mandatory Documents

Candidates must keep the following documents ready before applying for the UPSC CSE exam 2026.

1. Valid email ID and mobile number

2. Scanned passport-size photograph as per UPSC specifications

3. Scanned signature

4. Valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, etc.) 

5. Educational qualification documents (Graduation degree)

6.  Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) if applicable

7. PwBD certificate if applicable

Candidates are advised to use this extended timeline to complete the application process before the window closes. UPSC CSE is the only gateway for top administrative positions in India, like the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). The exam is scheduled for May 24, 2026.
