WBJEE Result 2025: The results for the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2025 will be soon announced by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE) on their official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. As the student’s category plays an important role in determining the WBJEE rank allocation, the West Bengal authorities are expected to declare the results only after the new OBCs are officially confirmed.
WBJEE Result 2025 Expected Soon: Examination Dates & Answer Key
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE) conducted the West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2025 on April 27, 2025 in pen and paper format. The examination was conducted on two different shifts. Paper I (Mathematics) took place in the first shift from 11: 00 am to 1: 00 pm on the other hand Paper II (Physics and Chemistry) took place in the second shift from 2: 00 pm to 4: 00 pm. The preliminary provisional answer key was released on May 9, 2025.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE) has officially released the provisional answer key for WBJEE, and gives an opportunity to those candidates who wish to challenge the answer key and file their objections by May 11, 2025. For successful objection, non-refundable processing fee of Rs 500 per question challenged through net banking/ debit card/ credit card/UPI only.
Simple Steps to download WBJEE Results 2025 Online:
Step 1: The students have to open the official website of WBJEEB, that is, wbjeeb.nic.in to download their scorecards.
Step 2: There will be a link for the ‘WBJEE Results 2025’ available on the homepage, click on that.
Step 3: Then, students have to fill in their login credentials such as date of birth and registration number in the designated fields.
Step 4: Submit to proceed and your WBJEE Results 2025 will be displayed on your screen.
Step 5: Download and don’t forget to keep a printout of the WBJEE results for future reference.
WBJEE Result 2025 Expected Soon: Why is it conducted?
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam 2025 is conducted annually for those students that are seeking admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and architecture programs and courses at various Universities, Government colleges and institutes in the state West Bengal. In 2024, a total of 1,42,694 candidates registered for the entrance examination out of which a total of 99,574 students passed. Kingshuk Patra topped the WBJEE examination last year.
WBJEE Result 2025:
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2025 consisted of three categories of questions. In Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3, the marking scheme will be different for each of the categories.
In Category 1, the students will be given one mark whereas one-fourth marks will be deducted for each and every wrong attempt.
In Category 2, for every right answer, students will be rewarded with two marks whereas half a mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
In Category 3, two marks will be given for each right answer. The students must note that there will be no negative marking in this section.
