'Gadar 2' is all set to hit the theatres on August 11, 2023. While Ameesha will reprise the role of Sakina, Sunny Deol will play Tara Singh. Gadar 2', directed by Anil Sharma, is a sequel to the previous film, however the timeline jumps forward 20 years. According to reports, the conflict in Gadar 2 takes place during the 1971 India-Pakistan War.

Gadar: Ek Prem Katha (Zee5)

In 2001, when 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', starring Sunny Deol, Amisha Patel, and Amrish Puri in the lead roles, hit the theatres, it set a benchmark in the Indian film industry. The film was released at a time when patriotism was at its pinnacle following the Kargil War. Sunny Deol's powerful portrayal of Tara Singh, along with his iconic dialogue "Hindustan Zindabad Tha, Zindabad Hai, Zindabad Rahega" (Long Live India), became legendary and left a lasting impact on Indian cinema. The film's success also added to the popularity of Sunny Deol as an action hero and solidified his position in the industry.

Shershaah (Prime Video)

Shershaah is a tribute to Indian Army Major Vikram Batra, who was martyred during the Kargil War. The Indian Hindi-language biographical war film based on the life of Vikram Batra. Sidharth Malhotra plays the role of Vikram, while Kiara Avani portrayed the role of his girlfriend Dimple Cheema

Raazi (Prime Video)

In order to give India information prior to the 1971 Indo-Pak War, Raazi centers on a female RAW agent who marries into a Pakistani military family. The movie stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role.

SIta Ramam (Prime Video)

Sita Ramam is a fictionalized account of a true event. Lieutenant Ram is an orphaned officer in the Indian army who guards the Kashmiri border. He secretly receives love messages from Sita Mahalakshmi. Ram goes in search of Sita and proposes marriage to her. The movie stars Mrunal Thakur and Dulquer Salmaan in the lead roles.

The Ghazi Attack (Prime Video)

The Ghazi Attack is inspired by events relating to the Pakistan naval submarine PNS GHAZI being sunk by Indian Navy near Visakhapatnam coast.
