Alia Bhatt, the talented Bollywood actress, recently shared insights into her parenting journey with her husband Ranbir Kapoor, shedding light on the challenges and joys of raising their daughter, Raha Kapoor. In a conversation with CNBC TV 18, Alia revealed how they navigate the demands of parenthood while managing their busy schedules.
Coming from a privileged background, Alia acknowledged that she has the means to afford help, but emphasized the importance of being present for her daughter. She and Ranbir made a conscious decision early on to ensure that one of them is always available for Raha. This arrangement allows them to split parenting responsibilities effectively, ensuring that their daughter is cared for and attended to at all times.
Despite their careful planning, Alia admitted that balancing responsibilities remains a challenge. She expressed the common feeling of mother's guilt, a sentiment shared by many mothers, regardless of their background or circumstances. Alia shared, "As a parent, as a mother, you are just always worried and nervous whether you are making the right decision or not." She added that since becoming a mother, she has embraced worrying as a constant in her life, always striving to do her best for Raha.
