BTS member Jin is back in the spotlight — this time not as a singer, but as the star of a romantic Kdrama-inspired commercial for Ottogi Corporation's 'Jin Ramen.' The new CF showcases Jin as the swoon-worthy male lead, but with a playful twist: his love interest isn’t a person — it’s the ramen itself!

The ad is packed with classic Kdrama aesthetics, from dramatic glances to a heart-fluttering run home, all leading to the ultimate moment of Jin enjoying a steaming bowl of 'Jin Ramen.' The lighthearted narrative follows Jin struggling to control his growing feelings for the ramen, capturing the charm and emotional intensity of a romantic series — only, this time, the romance is with food.

Fans, lovingly known as ARMYs, are absolutely hooked on Jin’s comedic yet heartfelt performance, flooding social media with praise. Many couldn’t help but joke about Jin’s previous aspirations to be an actor, saying, "The dreams I once had of becoming an actor are now forgotten..." — only for him to surprise everyone with this effortlessly charming acting gig.

One fan humorously declared, "Jin becoming the ambassador of 'Jin Ramen' will forever be one of the most iconic things he has ever done in his life — and this man has done countless iconic things, so that's saying something." Another fan added, "Not them giving us actor Jin material in a ramen ad!"

The CF’s standout scenes, like Jin gazing longingly at a river of ramen or running home to enjoy a bowl, had ARMYs laughing and calling the ad "so Jin-coded." The playful visuals combined with Jin’s sincere expressions made the ad feel like a parody of a heartfelt K-drama — and fans adored every second.

Adding to the excitement, Jin’s face will now feature on 'Jin Ramen' packaging worldwide, with select multipacks offering exclusive goodies, including stickers showcasing his handwriting, his adorable character Wootteo and more.
