Hanuman OTT Release Delayed: Director Prasanth Varma, celebrated for his unique narrative style, delves into the realm of superhero storytelling with his newest masterpiece, ‘HanuMan’. In the movie, Teja Sajja takes on the titular character, Hanumanthu, whose saga unfolds in the rustic backdrop of Anjanandri village, plagued by the tyranny of oppressive landlords.
The Indian Telugu language superhero movie hit the theatres on January 12, 2024. Hanuman was all set to make its OTT debut on March 8, 2024, on Zee5, but the film failed to do so. However, now fans await the movie’s OTT release.
Hanuman OTT Release Date Delayed
Originally scheduled for release on March 8, exclusively on Zee5, with a Hindi version set to premiere on JioCinema simultaneously, the digital launch of the film ‘HanuMan’ has encountered unforeseen setbacks, much to the bewilderment and disappointment of eager fans. Despite the frustrations of the delayed digital release, the film's theatrical achievement stands as a testament to its enduring popularity and the unwavering support of its dedicated audience.
When Will Hanuman movie release online?
There is no official confirmation about the movie’s OTT release, but if the reports are to be believed, Teja Sajja-starrer movie will make its digital debut on March 15, 2024.

The story of Telugu movie ‘Hanuman’ unfolds in the make-believe village of Anjanadri and marks the inception of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). In this imaginary setting of Anjanadri, the film delves into the tale of Hanumanthu, who receives the divine power of Lord Hanuman to protect the villagers. His journey intertwines with a confrontation against Michael, triggered by his encounter with a mystical gem.
The movie was formally revealed in May 2021, with filming beginning on June 25, 2021, in Hyderabad and concluding by mid-April 2023. It features music by GowraHari and Anudeep Dev, cinematography by Dasaradhi Sivendra, visual effects overseen by Venkat Kumar Jetty, and editing by Sai Babu Talari.
