Heeramandi Release Date Out: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming web series 'Heeramandi' is currently the talk of the town and created a lot of excitement among the fans due to its amazing visuals, intriguing concept and stellar cast. The web series will also mark the OTT debut of the 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' filmmaker and Netflix has left no stones unturned to promote this project. A grand event was organised in Mumbai on Wednesday evening to announce the release date of 'Heeramandi' and the star cast and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were present at the event.

Heeramandi Release Date:

According to reports, 'Heeramandi' will release on Netflix on May 1, 2024. The release date was unveiled with the drones in the presence of the team of 'Heeramandi'.

Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and Sharmin Segal were present at the launch but Aditi Rao Hydari did not attend.

Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Sanjay Leela Bhansali talked about making his OTT debut and said, "I make big films and that comes naturally to me. But when I came to OTT I made something bigger, it's my biggest project yet. So I didn't have to adapt to the digital medium, this will be like watching a film."

He added, "So there is no holding back or trying to do something different for OTT. I made 8 episodes for this, and it's so demanding, I am constantly working on the script. You have to spend more hours watching films than you do films but all of us are enjoying it a lot. This one is very special. My dear Moin Baig came up with this idea 14 years back, but finally, it has gotten made. I don't make films with my mind but with my heart. Heera Mandi has a very special place."

On the work front, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will team up with Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal for an epic saga 'Love & War'.
