In a recent press conference, showrunner Ryan Condal has also confirmed the fourth season of 'House Of The Dragon' and has revealed the series will end with that season.
At a press conference to discuss the finale of 'House Of The Dragon Season 2', Ryan Condal said that the series will come to its conclusion with a fourth season. He also revealed that the makers are currently writing the third season and its production will officially begin in early 2025.

While talking about the episodes in the third season, he said, "I haven’t had discussions with HBO about it. I would just anticipate the cadence of the show, from a dramatic storytelling perspective, will continue to be the same from Season 2 on.”
'House Of The Dragon' is set 200 years before the events of 'Game of Thrones' and 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen. The plot focuses on Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen, who fights against Queen Alicent Hightower for her claim to the throne. The second season ended on a cliffhanger as both sides start preparing for the upcoming war between Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen and Queen Alicent Hightower.
A new spin-off of 'Games Of Throne' titled 'A Knight Of Seven Kingdoms' has also been announced. The show stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg. According to reports, it will have six episodes and it is based on George R. R. Martin's novel 'Tales of Dunk and Egg'.
