Jailer Box Office Day 15 Prediction: Rajinikanth Led Action-Entertainer Witnesses Major Drop After Recording ‘Biggest Second Weekend’

‘Jailer’ Box Office Day 15 Prediction: Rajinikanth’s latest Tamil entertainer is all set to cross the Rs 300 Crore mark at the domestic box office. The film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, and earned Rs 3.65 Crore on Day 14. The total box office collection of the film stands around Rs 295.65 Crore. ‘Jailer’ hit theatres on August 10, a day before Akshay Kumar’s ‘OMG 2’ and Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2.’ ‘Gadar 2’ is leading the trail, with ‘Jailer’ taking the second position, and is followed by ‘OMG 2.’

‘Jailer’ opened at Rs 48.35 Crore on Thursday, August 10, even higher than ‘Gadar 2’ which opened a day later at Rs 40 Crore. The film minted Rs 235.85 Crore in its first week, but witnessed a slight drop after its second weekend.

Talking about Day 15 statistics, the film is expected to earn Rs 3 Crore, taking the total box office collection domestically to be around Rs 296 Crore. ‘Jailer’ has already become the second fastest Tamil film to cross Rs 550 Crore worldwide in just 12 days. The fastest film was Rajinikanth’s 2018 venture ‘2.0’ which had achieved these numbers in just eight days after its release.

‘Jailer’ also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, and Shiva Rajkumar. The film records a smashing cameo appearance of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. The music score of the film is given by Anirudh Ravichander.
