Kaathal The Core OTT Release: Mammootty-starrer 'Kaathal The Core' has finally been released in theatres and created a lot of curiosity among the audience due to its unique storyline ahead of its release. Also starring Jyothika in the lead role, the movie has been receiving a good response from the audience and the critics for its intriguing plot and stellar performance by the star cast. According to reports, the makers of 'Kaathal The Core' have already locked its digital partner.

Kaathal The Core OTT Release:

As per reports, 'Kaathal The Core' will release on Prime Video after its theatrical release. The movies usually release on the OTT platforms 45 to 60 days after their release date. Therefore, 'Kaathal The Core' is likely to release on OTT in January 2024.

The movie revolves around Mathew Devassy, who is a retired bank manager and decides to enter local panchayat elections. His life takes a different turn when his wife Omana files for divorce and claims that Mathew is a homosexual.

'Kaathal The Core' opened to decent numbers at the box office. According to the website Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 90 lakh on day 1 and the numbers are expected to go higher on the weekend.

During the promotion of the film, Mammootty said that 'Kaathal The Core' is a revolutionary film. He said, "Its subject is quite revolutionary. However, the narrative unfolds within a small locality, focusing on a single household.”

Mammootty also praised Jyothika and said that her simplicity comes from her husband Suriya. He said, "Suriya is very simple. Even Suriya’s family have always been grounded. I have now lived with them for 16 years in that house. It is all coming from there. I think we just become like that. It’s nature.”

Directed by Jeo Baby and written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria, the movie also stars Joji John, Muthumani, Chinnu Chandni, Sudhi Kozhikode, Alex Alister, Kalabhavan Haneef, Anagha Maya Ravi and Josey Sijo in the pivotal roles.
