'Project K' aka 'Kalki 2898 AD' has created a lot of excitement among the audience after its first look was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con event. Several talented actors like Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone are associated with the film and fans are eagerly waiting to watch 'Kalki 2829 AD' on the big screen. On the special occasion of Kamal Haasan, the makers unveiled a new poster of 'Kalki 2829 AD' featuring the actor.

Sharing the poster, the official X account of the production house Vyjayanthi Movies wrote, "Happy birthday to the one and only #Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan, the global phenomenon of cinema! - Team #Kalki2898AD."

'Kalki 2898 AD' will be released in theatres on January 12, 2024. It was rumoured that Dulquer Salmaan would also be a part of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. During his interaction with Telugu media while promoting 'King Of Kotha', Dulquer was asked if he would be seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. Without revealing many details about the film, he said that he was blown away after seeing the sets of the film.

“I can’t reveal anything about Project K. I’ll just tell you, I went to the sets and was blown away (by its grandiose nature). Only Nagi (Nag Ashwin) can think like that. He’s a director who never fails to surprise. Be it 'Yevade Subramanyam' or 'Mahanati' and then he goes on to do 'Project K', which is set in the future. The sets were so amazing. But I don’t know if I am in the film or not,” he said.

On the work front, Kamal Haasan will be seen in 'Indian 2' which is the sequel to S Shankar's directorial 'Indian' released in 1996. The movie also stars Rakul Preet, Siddharth, Vivek, Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Gurusomasundaram, Bobby Simha, Manobala, Samuthirakani, George Maryan and Delhi Ganesh in supporting roles.

He will also star in 'Thug Life' with Dulquer Salmaan, Trisha and Jayam Ravi.
