Lucifer 3: Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal starrer Malayalam movie L2 Empuraan hit the silver screens on March 27 and has been running successfully at the box office. The film has collected over Rs 80 crore in India. Empuraan is the sequel to the hit 2019 movie Lucifer, which had collected Rs 127.50 crore worldwide. After the two successful movies, the makers are planning the third part. At the end of Empuraan, there was a clever hint about another sequel named Lucifer 3: The Beginning. Yes, the next part will begin from the climax of Empuraan. 

What To Expect From Lucifer 3 The Beginning

The last scene showed a glimpse of Pranav Mohanlal (Mohanlal’s son) as Khureshi. As per reports, he will play the role of the younger son of Mohanlal’s character. According to several media reports, Pranav Mohanlal will replace Mohanlal in Lucifer 3 as the lead. As reported by Gulte, the storyline for the third part will shift its focus from the superstar to his son Pranav.

 

 



About L2: Empuraan

Coming back to L2: Empuraan, the story focuses on the journey of Stephen Nedumpally, who is an enigmatic leader of a powerful global crime syndicate. It explores two timelines- one shows the past of Khureshi and another revolves around his present time. The story covered the instances which led Khureshi to become an international criminal even while fighting for justice. It also shows the power struggle between Khureshi and Shen Triad. 

The movie stars Caroline Koziol, Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Rick Yune, Andrea Tivadar, Tovino Thomas and Manju Warrier in key roles. The action thriller film has been directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and produced by Antony Perumbavoor, A Subaskaran, Gokulam Gopalan, Subaskaran Allirajah. 

While sharing the trailer of the movie, Mohanlal wrote on Instagram "Presenting the #L2E #EMPURAAN trailer! Remember..it’s YOU who summoned the DEVIL at this hour! Malayalam - https://youtu.be/PGqltBCo6cU #March27."
