Bigg Boss Telugu season 9 wrapped up with its winner. Kalyan Padala emerged as the winner of the reality show hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni. He made history by becoming the youngest-ever winner and the first commoner contestant to win the show. Kalyan defeated Thanuja Puttaswamy, who secured the first runner-up position, followed by Demon Pavan as second and Emmanuel as third runner-up. He took home the trophy and cash prize of Rs 35 lakh. Soon after his victory, he shared his first post on Instagram, along with a gratitude note for his supporters.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Kalyan posted a video from Bigg Boss Telugu 9 grand finale, which was held on December 21. The clip featured his winning moment, with his parents being part of this emotional and history-making occasion on the reality show.
Along with the post, he wrote, "This victory is not just Kalyan’s. It belongs to every fan, well-wisher, friend, family member, reviewer and yes, even the haters who pushed the conversation forward. Bigg Boss Telugu 9 Grand Finale Updates
The grand finale streamed on JioHotstar and aired on Star Maa on December 21 from 7 PM. The finale episode featured special appearances from actor Ravi Teja and a stage performance by Payal Rajput. Ravi Teja entered the house with a dramatic twist and offered the top 3 finalists a cash amount of Rs 7.5 lakh, which was increased to Rs 10 lakh, but it was rejected by Kalyan, Thanuja and Demon Pavan. Later, it was raised to Rs 15 lakh, which Demon Pavan accepted and walked away with the silver briefcase as the second runner-up. This led to a tough face-off between Kalyan Padala and Thanuja Puttaswamy. Ultimately, commoner Kalyan emerged victorious.
