Triptii Dimri is making waves in the film industry with her impressive performances in various movies. The actress was last seen in Dhadak 2 and her performance received positive reviews from fans and critics alike. Her next movie in pipeline is Spirit, which was supposed to be done with Deepika Padukone, but the latter opted out of the project. If the reports are to be believed, the new mom demanded an eight-hour shift, a share of the profits and a higher fee, terms the producers allegedly couldn’t accommodate. However, after replacing Deepika Padukone in Spirit, Triptii Dimri has seemingly shown support towards her by liking a post celebrating her professionalism.

A celebrity saree stylist Dolly Jain hailed Deepika Padukone's professionalism and recalled how she danced barefoot in Nagada Sang Dhol. At the time, Deepika was injured and was wearing a 30 kg lehenga. "Deepika Padukone will never be unprofessional, that people want her to be," read the text on post. As the eagle-eyed fans spotted Dimri's like on the post, they hailed the actress, urging to stop letting hate campaigns decide "the way we see her".

A Reddit user commented on the post, "I feel the highlighted part means a lot… ‘It’s time we stop letting hate campaigns decide the way we see her.’ I dunno but feel like Triptii has experienced this herself people and rival PRs mercilessly and constantly hating on her and shaming her. It’s too much. Social media thrives on hate and it’s high time everybody starts showing some grace," another one commented, "It’s beyond disgusting and makes me deeply question Bollywood," others also dropped similar reactions.

About the controversy: Deepika Padukone's exit from Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit has garnered a lot of attention. Earlier, it was reported that the actress demanded an 8-hour-working shift, a profit cut sharing and a ballpark remuneration of Rs 20 crore. The demands reportedly did not sit well with Vanga who then roped in Triptii Dimri for the role.

According to News18, a source claimed, "There seems to be a deliberate attempt to control the narrative. The actress’ perception team is struggling to come to terms with her replacement and is conveniently spinning her exit as a ‘work-life balance’ decision. But the reality is quite different."

"The actor had reportedly demanded ₹25 crores for approximately 35 days of shoot, along with a 10% profit share, extensive entourage expenses and even expressed unwillingness to deliver dialogues in Telugu—something the director felt strongly about. To top it off, confidential plot details from Spirit were allegedly leaked, which raised serious concerns among the producers," the source further added.
