Diljit Dosanjh is all set to make a comeback on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, nearly two years after his much-talked-about debut on the popular late-night programme. The 42-year-old star shared the exciting update with fans on Tuesday through social media, building anticipation around his return to the global stage.
Diljit Dosanjh took to his Instagram handle and posted a fun video clip that captures him giving host Jimmy Fallon a lively crash course in Bhangra. The video begins with Diljit and his team walking into the studio and playfully addressing the audience with the line, "Kya lagta tha nahi lautenge? (Did you think we wouldn’t come back?), instantly setting a cheerful and energetic tone.
The clip then showcases a light-hearted cultural exchange, with Fallon joining in on the Bhangra moves, highlighting Diljit’s signature charm and global appeal.

Diljit then said, "Kaha tha na ke ek baar Punjabi aa jayein toh chethi nahi jaate… Jimmy Fallon aa gaye oye (We told you, once a Punjabi shows up, they don’t leave in a hurry… We are here at Jimmy Fallon)." Fans couldn’t stop gushing over Diljit Dosanjh’s return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "Our favourite sardar taking over Hollywood, let’s goooo," one fan wrote, while another added, "Can’t wait for this."
Diljit first appeared on the show in 2024, where he wowed audiences with live performances of G.O.A.T. and Born to Shine. Dressed in a white dhoti-kurta and turban, he was introduced as the 'biggest Punjabi artist on the planet' and even treated viewers to energetic Bhangra moves.
He was recently seen in Border 2, which released in January and reportedly earned Rs 400 crore worldwide. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film also starred Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana. Next, Diljit will be seen in Main Vaapas Aaunga, directed by Imtiaz Ali.
