Diljit Dosanjh's controversial film Satluj has surfaced online just hours after it was removed from ZEE5 in India. The film, inspired by the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, was taken down from the streaming platform shortly after its release. Soon after the removal, clips and full versions of the movie reportedly began circulating on social media and messaging apps, prompting ZEE5 to issue an appeal against piracy.

Diljit Dosanjh’s Film Satluj Reportedly Leaked Online

After being removed from ZEE5, Satluj reportedly appeared on several social media and messaging platforms, including X and WhatsApp.

According to posts shared online, users claimed that the complete version of the film was being widely circulated. One user wrote, "Several attempts were made to stop Satluj, earlier known as Punjab '95. But after the ban on OTT, the story seems to be travelling even faster among people."

The same user also claimed that the full film, with a runtime of 2 hours, 29 minutes and 22 seconds, was being shared through messaging platforms.

ZEE5 Appeals Against Piracy Of Satluj

Following reports of the leak, ZEE5 released a statement requesting viewers not to watch or share pirated copies of the film.

The platform said, "We are hopeful and doing everything we can. Please do not support piracy. We remain committed to exploring every possible avenue to bring Satluj back to you."

ZEE5 also assured audiences that it is exploring all legal options to restore the film to its platform.

Why Was Satluj Removed?

Earlier, ZEE5 confirmed that Satluj had been removed because of current developments. However, the platform did not specify the exact reason behind the decision or mention any political or certification-related issues.

The removal sparked fresh discussions around censorship, creative freedom and digital content regulation.
