Saiyami Kher, known for her role in Mirzya, is all set to make her much-awaited debut in Malayalam cinema. This marks an important new chapter in Saiyami's career, as she ventures into Malayalam film industry, which is known for its realistic storytelling and powerful performances. Malayalam cinema, in recent years, has emerged as a hub of critically acclaimed content, drawing interest from actors and filmmakers across the country. Saiyami's decision to join the Malayalam industry reflects the growing trend of cross-industry collaborations in Indian cinema.
Saiyami Kher will be seen sharing screen space with talented Malayalam actor Roshan Mathew in the yet-to-be-titled project. According to latest reports a source has claimed, “Saiyami has been keen on doing a Malayalam film for a while. She's always been drawn to cinema that prioritises strong storytelling, and this script immediately stood out to her. Pairing with Roshan Mathew in a performance-driven role felt like the perfect next step.”
The Malayalam movie will see Saiyami Kher playing a parallel lead role, promising a compelling narrative and a fresh pairing. The shooting of the movie has already commenced in Mumbai, as per reports. With her previous experience working with superstar Nagarjuna in Telugu movie Wild Dog, Saiyami is all set to explore the world of Malayalam cinema.

On the professional front, Saiyami Kher was recently seen in Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The movie starred Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Regina Cassandra in lead roles alongside Saiyami Kher, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vineet Kumar Singh, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, P. Ravi Shankar, and Babloo Prithiveeraj. Saiyami made her debut with the 2015 Telugu movie Rey and appeared in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra's Punjabi folklore Mirza Sahiban based Hindi movie Mirzya opposite Harshvardhan Kapoor in the following year.
On the other hand, the Mirzya actress, who impressed audiences with her portrayal in movies like Ghoomer, Sharmaji Ki Beti, Choked and others, has also created history by becoming the first Indian actress to complete the prestigious Ironman 70.3 triathlon in Germany. The race consisted of a 1.9 km swim, 90 km of cycling, and a 21.1 km run, which had to be completed back-to-back without breaks.
