Run Jin: BTS Jin, aka Kim Seokjin, had a fan moment as Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise appeared on Episode 5 of Run Jin. The episode premiered on April 20 on Bangtan TV. Jin welcomed the Mission: Impossible actor to his show, but it was Cruise who made a sweet gesture by calling Jin’s family. In one of the viral videos from the show, Tom asked Jin to video call his family. Jin told his mother in the call, “Tom Cruise is here. He wanted to video call you.” The actor then greeted the family on video conference, who were enjoying their lunch together. Cruise said, “The food looks excellent.” The actor then greeted the Kpop star’s grandfather. This heartwarming conversation left the fans gaga over them. 

While sharing the video, a fan wrote on X, “TOM CRUISE VIDEO CALL WITH JIN’S WHOLE FAMILY.” A user said, “Jin was so nervous but he did an amazing job and also tom cruise was also really sweet to him Jin saying to the members TOM CRUISE KNOWS US was so cute TOM CRUISE ON RUN JIN.” Another fan wrote, “Jin at work meeting a superstar and saying hi to Mom. This is super relatable.” A fan said, “Well that's so nice !! Two lovely gentlemen.” An ARMY wrote, “Also can we take a second to appreciate how happy his mom sounded when answering his call in the middle of eating.” Another fan said, “he’s so real for this omg.” A user said, “in's family is so cute. Tom too is so friendly.” 

The show had several other heartwarming moments, such as BTS Jin asking Tom Cruise if he had heard the Kpop group. Cruise said, “Yes, we all know BTS!” The acknowledgement left Jin stunned and thrilled Jin screamed, “Tom Cruise knows us!” 

Cruise also praised the popular Kpop band. The actor said, “First of all, I just want to say congratulations. Your band and your career and what you’ve created is very impressive. I’m a big fan and I’m very happy to be on your show right now.” 

In another video, Jin asked Tom Cruise “If I get another opportunity to meet you, do you think our friendship could grow?” The Mission Impossible actor replied, “Always”.
