The Summer I Turned Pretty End Credit: The Summer I Turned Pretty premiered on September 17th, Wednesday in India. The story however isn't over just yet. Yes, you read that right! A loving handwritten statement and a moving slideshow alluded to a larger project, a full-length movie. The TSITP credits played over a scene that had not been in the show before - Belly and Conrad celebrating Christmas in Paris. The couple was photographed sharing sweet holiday moments, smiling broadly, and exchanging gifts. For a nostalgic nod to her devoted fans, Belly was spotted wearing a red-printed pajama set that brought back memories of her last Christmas with Conrad at Cousins Beach.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Movie CONFIRMED

The Summer I Turned Pretty movie announcement was made at a red carpet ceremony in Paris, where the series concluded. Amazon Prime Video confirmed the movie for their platform. The movie will showcase Belly's adventure while specifics of the plot are being kept under wraps. The project will be written by writer-producer Sarah Kucserka and author Jenny Han, whose best-selling books served as the basis for the series.

Jenny Han said, "There is another big milestone left in Belly’s journey, and I thought only a movie could give it its proper due. I’m so grateful to Prime Video for continuing to support my vision and for making it possible to share this final chapter with the fans."

Jenny Han's works served as the inspiration for The Summer I Turned Pretty. The first season is based on the 2009 film The Summer I Turned Pretty. It's Not Summer Without You (2010) serves as the basis for Season 2. We'll Always Have Summer (2011) serves as the basis for the last season.

The forthcoming film will offer fans more than just closure; it will be an  opportunity to bid adieu in a real cinematic fashion, giving Belly and her universe the farewell they deserve on the big screen.
