Telugu OTT Releases In August: In the coming days, top OTT platforms are set to bring some exciting Telugu movies and shows. The list of content comprises various genres like action drama, political thrillers, survival drama, cop drama, mythological movie and offers much more. If you are planning to set your binge list for the month of August then you are at the right place. Here we brought you the list of much anticipated Telugu movies and web series releasing on Netflix, Prime Video, JioHotstar, SonyLIV and ETV Win. Among the confirmed releases, viewers can expect the arrival of much speculated movie Kannappa.

Telugu OTT Releases In August 2025

Thammudu (Netflix, August 1)

The Telugu action drama movie is about a brother, who goes to every extent to protect his sister from multiple challenges in life. It explores the bond of the siblings, who overcomes several challenges in life. Thammudu features Nithiin, Sapthami Gowda, Laya and Swasika in prominent roles.

Mayasabha (SonyLIV, August 7)

The show is about two friends, who turned into political rivals which became the story of the state. The series features Aadhi Pinisetty, Chaitanya Rao, Divya Dutta, Sai Kumar, Srikanth Iyengar, Nassar, Ravindra Vijay, Shatru, and Tanya Ravichandran in significant roles.

Arabia Kadali (Prime Video, August 8)

The web series is about a group fishermen from rival villages, who trespass into international waters and find themselves imprisoned in a foreign jail. The show features Harsh Roshan, Anandhi, Satyadev Kancharana, Vamsi Krishna and Prabhavathi in prominent roles.

Constable Kanakam (ETV Win, August 14)

It is about a small town police constable, who investigates a complex criminal case. The web series stars Varsha Bollamma, Rajeev Kanakala, Megha Lekha, Srinivas Avasarala, Ramana Bhargav, Kancharapalem Kishore, Jwala Koti, Rakendu Mouli, Prem Sagar and Suchitraa Anandan in pivotal roles.

 

Rambo In Love (JioHotstar, August 29)

The series focuses on a abrupt entrepreneur, who needs funds urgently to save his business. But he has to work with a new investor, who turns out to be ex. The show stars Abhinav Manikanta and Payal Chengappa in the lead roles.

Kannappa 

The mythological movie is about an atheist hunter, who becomes true devotee of Lord Shiva. To showcase his devotion to the diety, he plucked his eyes to put in the bleeding Shiva Lingam. The movie stars Vishnu Manchu, Preity Mukhundhan, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Babu and Mohanlal in pivotal roles. As per reports, the movie is expected to release in mid week of August on Prime Video.
