Prabhas’ 'Salaar' is one of the highly-anticipated movies of the year 2023. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie also stars Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. 'Salaar' recently faced an unexpected postponement which came as a shock to Prabhas’ fans and followers. The movie will now reportedly hit the big screens in November, with some reports also stating that it will clash with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Tiger 3.

However, after 'Salaar's postponement, several filmmakers took advantage of the situation and decided to release their movies on September 28 (earlier locked by Salaar).

Tamil Nadu Box Office tracker Kannan took to his official X account and wrote, “As #Salaar postponed from Sept 28th, @iamharishkalyan's #Parking booked the date, with Siddharth's #Chithha & Ameer's #UyirTamilukku already announced. @actor_jayamravi's biggie #Iraivan too targets the same date.”

Iraivan (Tamil)

The release of the upcoming Tamil film 'Iraivan' is set for September 28, 2023. I. Ahmed is directing the film, which features a stellar star cast including Jayam Ravi, Nayanthara, Rahul Bose, and Ashish Vidyarthi in the key roles. Naren is another well-known actor who was roped in for 'Iraivan'.

Parking (Tamil)

Directed by  Ramkumar Balakrishnan, Parking stars Harish Kalyan and Indhuja Ravichandran in the lead roles. The feature film is produced by Sudhan Sundaram and KS Sinish and its music has been composed by Sam CS.

Chithha (Tamil)

The movie, which stars Sahasra, a newbie, as a little girl, is a romance drama/thriller that centers on her connection with Siddharth's character, who plays the role of her chithappa (paternal uncle). Nimisha Sajayan plays the female protagonist in the movie as well.

Uyir Thamizhukku (Tamil)

Directed by Adham Bava, Uyir Thamizhukku will see Ameer Sultan and Chandini Tamilarasan in lead roles and Imman Annachi and G Marimuthu in other important roles.

Rules Ranjan (Telugu)

The producers of 'Rules Ranjann' chose September 28, 2023 as the release date. Directed by Rathinam Krishna, the movie stars Neha Sshetty in the lead role.

Skanda (Telugu)

'Skanda's release will be postponed by almost 10 days from its original date in order to strategically use September 28, 2023. On Monday, Manobala Vijayabalan took to his official X account and wrote, “Breaking: #Skanda takes #Prabhas' #Salaar date 28 Sep 2023.” According to his tweet, the movie has filled the vacant spot owing to Salaar’s postponement.
