Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone-starrer 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' is one of the most popular Bollywood movies and has gained the status of a cult classic film in the eyes of the audiences. The movie never fails to give nostalgia to the fans due to its amazing songs, stellar performances and portrayal of friendship. The movie was re-released in theatres during Valentine's week and fans are having a gala time. Several videos of the fans grooving to 'Balam Pichkari' have been going viral on social media.

The fans have turned the theatres to a concert as they happily sang and danced to the songs from 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.

In 2023, 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' completed 10 years of its release and the team reunited to celebrate the movie. Ayan Mukerji also penned a heartfelt note for fans on Instagram and wrote, "YJHD - My second child, a piece of my heart and soul - 10 years old today. I think after all these years, I can confidently say that… Making this movie was one of the greatest joys of my life! And what we achieved with it - with all its perfections and imperfections - is a source of great eternal pride for me!"

He added, "Strangely, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani fully from beginning to end, since the day it released …(Always pushing towards the next milestone, and not looking back enough…!) But when I’m older and wiser - I think I will watch the movie atleast once a year - because a big part of who I was and how I looked at life - is forever captured in this movie !"

Also sharing a Director’s Note I had written at the time, in my story which someone special from my team shared with me a few days ago… and it brought back all kinds of memories for me ! Yup :)," he concluded.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' also stars Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur in the supporting roles. The movie revolves around Bunny and Naina (played by Ranbir and Deepika respectively), who have completely different personalities. Naina falls in love with Bunny but does not express her feelings. The two reunite at their friend Aditi's wedding and rekindle their love.
