Salaar: Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer Telugu action drama movie Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is all set to re-release in theatres on March 21, 2025. Viewers, who loved watching the action-packed movie on the big screens in 2023, are all set to cherish it all over again. Viewers’ craze about the movie is quite evident from the advance box office reports of Salaar’s re-release. As per Sacnilk, the Telugu movie has sold tickets over Rs 1 crore. The movie is expected to create a history all over again with its box office performance. Ahead of its re-release, here is everything you need to know about Salaar: Ceasefire.

About Salaar

The movie follows the story of Deva (played by Prabhas), who lives near a coal mine with his mother in the remote village of Assam’s Tinsukia. They move from one place to another as to protect Deva from violence. Deva works as a mechanic in the village and minds his own business. But his life is turned upside down when Aadhya (portrayed by Shruti Haasan), is brought as a refugee, who has been threatened by Obulamma (played by Jhansi). On the other hand, Raja Mannar (Jagapathi Babu) prepares to make his son Vardha (played by Prithviraj Sukumaran), his successor. This created issues in the village and got more intense when foreign armies were hired to create chaos. Radha, who is the princess, announces a partial ceasefire of nine days ahead of the election called by representatives of 101 tribes of the empire. Vardha then called his childhood friend Deva to save him from the miseries and challenges. 

Salaar: Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sriya Reddy, Shruti Haasan, Harsh Roshan, Ramachandra Raju, Easwari Rao, Bobby Simha, Karthikeya dev and Naveen Shankar in key roles. It has been directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The movie hit the silver screens on December 22, 2023. The film then received positive responses from the critics. 

Salaar Previous Box Office Collection

According to reports, Prashanth Neel’s directorial was made on a budget of Rs 270 crore. As per reports, the film had a successful box office collection of Rs 406.45 crore in India. The worldwide collection of Salaar: Ceasefire stands at Rs 617.75 crore.
