Samantha Ruth Prabhu stands to be one of the most renowned actresses of Tollywood and soon will be seen in Raj and DK's 'Citadel' series. She also has 'Kushi' with Vijay Deverakonda in the pipeline, however, the actress reportedly is set to take a break after completing her pending projects.
Last year, Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about battling her health issues and personal trauma but steadily continued to stay committed to her work and completed all her projects. She will now apparently take a year's break to focus on her health and will seek treatment for Myositis.

Samantha wrapped the last schedule of 'Citadel' with Varun Dhawan in Serbia and is now shooting with Vijay Deverakonda for 'Kushi'. The film's final shooting schedule will be completed in three days post which Samantha will take one year's break from acting and keenly focus on her health.

The 'Oo Antava' girl is known for her professionalism and has put up a brave front, post her divorce from actor Naga Chaitanya. The actress also dealt with her health issues during the release of 'Yashoda' and is always seen carrying a big smile on her face.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has no plans to sign any new project and has returned the advance payments to film producers taken for the projects post her work in 'Kushi.'

Talking about 'Kushi', the film is touted to be a romantic drama and is directed by Siva Nirvana. 'Kushi' marks the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu after 'Mahanati.' The film is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is scheduled to be released on September 1 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Samantha also has 'Citadel' India, directed by Raj and DK co-starring Varun Dhawan. The series is expected to release in September 2023 on Amazon Prime Video and is the Indian adaptation of the American series of the same name starring Richard Maddens and Priyanka Chopra. However, the official release date of the series is yet to be announced.
