Sonu Nigam posted a video on his Instagram, where he appeared visibly in pain. After receiving medical attention, the singer went on to deliver a power-packed performance on stage in Pune on Sunday. In the video, he said, “One of the most difficult days of my life but very fulfilling. I was thinking singing while moving could trigger the spasm, but I managed somehow. I never want to do less or give less when people expect so much from me. It turned out okay. I’m glad. This shaped up fine.”

Explaining his pain further, he added, "But excruciating, excruciating pain. It felt like a needle was pricking my spine. I would move a little, and the needle would enter my spine. It was like that. Really bad." Sharing the post, he wrote, "Sarasvati ji did hold my hand last night."
