Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies' gears up for its imminent digital release on Netflix, promising a musical extravaganza that introduces emerging talents. The film's release date is drawing near, and the ensemble cast, featuring Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Aditi 'Dot' Saigal, and Yuvraj Menda, is actively engaged in promotional activities. Ahead of its December 7 debut, the makers organised an album launch event.
The star-studded cast, exuding a vibrant retro vibes, captivated the audience with their infectious energy as they danced to one of the movie's songs. Adding to the excitement surrounding the film's impending release, 'The Archies' gang were seen grooving at the music launch of the OTT movie. They danced to the song Va Va Voom penned by Javed Akhtar and sung by Tejas. Several videos from the event went viral. In addition to this, Suhana and Agastya displayed their incredible chemistry, gracefully dancing to a romantic melody. And fans loved it.

At the event, Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan, donned a vibrant, multi-colored short frock and Khushi Kapoor looked cutey in a mid-length tube dress. The entire ensemble embraced a retro fashion sense reminiscent of the 1960s, perfectly aligning with the movie's setting. The males dressed in their best looks for the audio launch. About The Archies
Zoya Akhtar's The Archies will be released on Netflix. Starring Suhana, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda, the show is a coming-of-age musical, that will take audiences to the fictional hilly town of Riverdale on the 7th of December 2023. It explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion. The makers recently released the trailer of the film that introduced the dramatic lives of teenagers of Riverdale, a fictional hill station.
Produced by Tiger Baby and Graphic India, it will star Agastya Nanda as Archie Andrews, Suhana as Veronica Lodge, Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, Khushi as Betty Cooper, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Dot as Ethel Muggs, and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley.
For now, 'The Archies' has unveiled four video songs: 'Sunoh,' written by Javed Akhtar and Dot, performed by Tejas. Next, 'Va Va Voom,' and the third song titled '"In Raahon Mein,' sung by Arijit Singh. The most recent addition, 'Dhishoom Dhishoom,' composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, penned by Javed Akhtar, has joined the lineup.
