War 2 Release Date: The forthcoming film War 2, slated to hit theaters on August 14, 2025, has been generating tremendous excitement among fans and industry insiders alike. Produced by the renowned Yash Raj Films as an integral part of their expansive Spy Universe, this highly anticipated movie boasts an impressive star cast, featuring the talented Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in pivotal roles, with Kiara Advani also on board. As the release date draws near, expectations are running high, with many predicting that War 2 will not only shatter box office records but also potentially emerge as the highest-grossing film of the year. 

On Sunday, makers announced the release date of War 2. The movie will hit the theatres on August 14, 2025. Yash Raj Films announced on X, “Must say… you have set it up brilliantly even before we have started our marketing of #War2... there will be mayhem in cinemas on 14 August 2025, worldwide.”

The buzz surrounding the film is further amplified by discussions centered on the dynamic between Hrithik Roshan's character, Kabir and Jr. NTR's role, with numerous fans and critics speculating that NTR's performance might just steal the show. The excitement is palpable, fueled by the release of promotional materials and the promise of an epic cinematic clash, ultimately culminating in widespread anticipation for the film's impact on the Indian film industry.

About the movie: Under the direction of Ayan Mukerji and production of Aditya Chopra, the filming of War 2 is nearing completion, with only one song remaining to be shot. However, the filming of this final song has been delayed due to Hrithik Roshan's leg injury. Once the actor recovers, the remaining shoot will be completed, marking the wrap-up of the entire film.
