Malayalam actress Vincy Aloshious described a tense encounter with a co-star who she said was under the influence of drugs when they were on work. She revealed that she had made the decision to avoid working with actors that take drugs.

Vincy Aloshious attended KCYM Ernakulam-Angamaly Major Archdiocese's 67th year of operation, which was hosted at Kerala's Pallippuram Church, where she said, "If I am aware that someone is using drugs, I will not act in any film with them." She clarified that her decision was based on bad encounters with a co-star who was apparently a drug user following an online debate.

Vincy Aloshious recalled two horrifying incidents on the sets of a movie and said, "There was an issue with my costume, and I was on the way to get it fixed. And out of nowhere, he insisted on accompanying me, and helping me get the dress ready. This was told in front of everyone, and it made the situation all the more uncomfortable."

Vincy Aloshious further added, "Something white spilled from his mouth on to the table, and it was clear that he was using drugs on set. See, it’s one thing to use drugs in personal life, but to use it at your workplace, and making it uncomfortable for everyone around you is completely unacceptable."

Who Is Vincy Aloshious?

Vincy Aloshious is an award-winning Malayalam actress who has starred in numerous movies. She attended Bishop Cotton Girls High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the Asian School of Architecture and Design Innovation, according to IMDb.

During her undergraduate years, she started modeling and trying out in the movies. Vincy Aloshious debuted in the comedy-drama Vikruthi (2019) alongside Suraj Venjaramoodu and Soubin Shahir.

Vincy Aloshious starred in Jana Gana Mana, Solomante Theneechakal, 1744 White Alto, and Saudi Vellakka in 2022. She has a significant supporting role as Gouri Lakshmi in the political thriller Jana Gana Mana. In 2023, Aloshious starred in the vengeance drama Rekha (2023).

Vincy Aloshious has finally filed a legal complaint with the film organisation AMMA after disclosing that a lead actor mistreated her while under the influence of narcotics.

The Excise Department is reportedly going to question Vincy about the situation, which has been reported to the film chamber. The actor was already under suspicion when it was revealed that he was the customer of a narcotics dealer who had just been apprehended.

Vincy Aloshious' remarks coincide with accusations of drug use against certain Malayalam actors. Additionally, sexual harassment allegations in the Malayalam cinema industry came to light following the Hema committee report.
