Bengaluru Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday stated that Bengaluru and other districts of Karnataka are likely to receive rainfall in the upcoming few days. The capital city of Karnataka has been witnessing light to heavy rain since the last few days, providing relief to the residents from the scorching heat. While the rainfall has reduced the temperature of the city, it has led to waterlogging and traffic congestion in Bengaluru.
Bengaluru residents on Saturday woke up to cloudy skies with a gentle breeze, reducing the temperature and providing relief to the residents. While the maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature remained around 21 degrees Celsius.
The weather department on Friday stated that the city will experience similar weather patterns until the end of the month, adding that the maximum temperature during this tenure is likely to remain around 31 degrees Celsius.
Bengaluru residents on Saturday shared visuals of the cloudy skies and light rain on the social media platforms, labeling the weather as a "peak Bengaluru moment". However, several residents on Thursday and Friday expressed their frustration over the waterlogging and traffic congestion. They pointed out that the city has a "poor" infrastructure, adding that its condition got exposed by an hour of heavy rain.

One of the social media users, while sharing pictures, stated that it is a privilege to live in Bengaluru as it has the "best weather" among all the top cities of the country.
“Bangalore has the best weather in India of all major cities. Everything else maybe questionable but the fact that I'm experiencing pleasant weather in April while the rest of India is scorching is an underrated privilege. Also, the cherry blossom season is amazing,” the social media user wrote on X.
Earlier on Friday, the weather department urged the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconvenience.
