Railway News: In a major update for the passengers of Bihar, the railways have decided to extend the operation period of five pairs of special trains. While providing details, the officials stated that some of the special trains will continue to operate till November. The decision was taken considering the surge in the crowd and is likely to benefit the passengers of several districts, including Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Champaran, and Patna.
Saraswati Chandra, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, stated that the special trains will continue to operate for the convenience of the passengers. Chandra further urged them to stay updated and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.
Operation Period Extended
As per the latest advisory, the Raxaul-Lokmanya Tilak-Raxaul (05557/05558) special train will now operate until the end of July. The special train will run from Raxaul every Tuesday until July 28 and from Lokmanya Tilak every Thursday until July 30. The train passes through several stations, including Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, and DDU.
- The services of the Patna-Charlapalli-Patna (03253/03254/03255) special train have been extended until the end of July. This train will run from Patna every Monday and Wednesday and from Charlapalli every Wednesday and Friday, as described in the schedule.

- The Patna-Khordha Road Junction-Patna (03230/03229) special will also continue to operate until the end of July. The special train will operate every Thursday from Patna and every Friday from Khordha Road Junction.
Patna-Howrah Train To Run Till November
- As per the advisory, the Patna-Howrah-Patna (02024/02023) special train has received the longest service extension. It will now run every Sunday in both directions until September 27, the officials confirmed.
- Apart from this, the Sogaria-Dhanbad-Sogaria (09821/09822) special train will operate between July 16 and November 28. While providing details, the railways stated that this train will run every Thursday from Sogaria and every Saturday from Dhanbad.
