Twisha Sharma Death Case: A robbery attempt was foiled at the residence of Giribala Singh, a retired judge and key accused in the death case of her daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma.

The incident occurred during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday when unidentified thieves entered the house through the back door. They stole gold jewellery along with a file containing important documents related to Giribala and Samarth Singh.

However, their escape was cut short. The Charlie police unit patrolling the area noticed suspicious activity and foiled the theft.

What Is The Whole Matter?

According to the Katara Hills police station, Giribala's brother was inside the house in Baghmugaliya Extension at the time of the incident. As the criminals entered through the back door of the house, no one inside heard them, Naidunia reported.

Meanwhile, a patrolling Charlie police team noticed suspicious activity and sounded the siren. Hearing the siren, the criminals panicked and fled the scene immediately, leaving behind the stolen gold jewellery and the file containing important documents.

While police officials chased them, the accused managed to escape by taking advantage of the darkness. Following the incident, officers recovered the gold jewellery and the file containing important documents from the scene.

Investigators are currently examining footage from CCTV cameras installed at the residence and in nearby areas. Based on the suspicious activity identified during the preliminary investigation, the police have detained two young men for questioning.

What Was The Motive?

Police are now investigating whether the theft was solely aimed at stealing jewellery or if there was a deliberate attempt to gain access to crucial documents related to the Twisha Sharma death case, the report added.

Every aspect of the case is being thoroughly examined, with an investigation based on forensic evidence, CCTV footage, and the interrogation of suspects.
