Delhi News: In a major security-driven exercise, the Delhi Police has issued notices to every private hospital in the national capital, directing them to immediately furnish complete details of all doctors currently practising in the city who obtained their MBBS degrees from Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, or the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to sources quoted by Jagran.com, the move was triggered by specific intelligence inputs received by agencies, prompting authorities to verify the background and credentials of such medical professionals.

-Residential address

-Passport details

- Current visa status

- Medical Council registration number

- Date of starting medical practice in Delhi

Officials have clarified that the exercise is part of enhanced background verification and national security protocol, and there is no blanket allegation against doctors from these countries. However, the police have made it clear that strict action will be taken against any hospital failing to comply within the stipulated deadline.
