Delhi Traffic Advisory: Delhi's Minto Bridge has been closed for repair works till September 2, the Delhi traffic police said in an advisory in a social media post on X. As per the advisory, both the carriageways at Minto Bridge will remain closed till Monday morning due to repair work of deep potholes. It has been closed from August 30 (10 pm) to September 2 (7 am).

"Due to repair work of deep potholes under Minto Bridge, both carriageways will remain closed from Friday 10 pm till Monday at 7 am," the advisory said.

In view of this, the traffic will be diverted to other routes and the traffic police has issued an advisory stating alternate routes for the same:

Diversion Points

* Connaught Place Outer Circle

* Minto Road DDU Marg T-Point

1.Complete traffic coming from Connaught Place on Minto Road will be diverted on Outer Circle Connaught Place, Barakhamba Road towards Turkman Gate/Kamla Market via Ranjeet Singh Flyover.

2.Complete traffic coming from Roundabout Kamla Market on Minto Road will be diverted on Ranjit Singh Marg and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (Tilak Bridge) towards Connaught Place via Ranjeet Singh Flyover, DDU Marg and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (Tilak Bridge).

Alternate Routes

JLN Marg, Barakhamba Road via Ranjeet Singh flyover and Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg (Tilak Bridge).

The advisory asked the general public and motorists to keep patience, observe traffic rules and road discipline and follow direction of traffic personnel deployed at all intersections and remain updated through their social media channels.
