In view of the ongoing construction of the underground Yuge Yugin Bharat Metro Station, Pandit Pant Marg in the national capital will remain closed for general vehicular traffic from February 23 until completion of the work.

The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory informing commuters that traffic movement will be strictly restricted between GRG Circle and PM Circle on Pandit Pant Marg. Authorities have appealed to citizens to cooperate and plan their travel accordingly.

According to the advisory, motorists travelling from Gol Dak Khana towards Pandit Pant Marg are advised to take Dr Bishambar Das Marg, Gurdwara Rakabganj Road and Church Lane to reach Church Road. Vehicles coming from Church Road may proceed via Gurdwara Rakabganj Road and Talkatora Road.

Other alternative routes suggested by the traffic police include Sansad Marg, Patel Chowk roundabout, Ashoka Road, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Bishambar Das Road, Gurdwara Rakabganj Road and Mahadev Road.

Commuters have been advised to avoid the affected stretch to prevent congestion and to use public transport wherever possible. Those heading to ISBTs, railway stations or the airport have been asked to factor in additional travel time.
