Haryana Assembly Election 2024: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released its manifesto for the forthcoming Assembly elections in Haryana, scheduled to be held on October 5. In its manifesto, the saffron party has promised the purchase of 24 crops at the Minimum Support Price and guaranteed government jobs for every Agniveer hailing from the state.

The manifesto was released by BJP chief JP Nadda in the presence of Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union Ministers M L Khatar, Rao Inderjit Singh and K P Gurjar at Rohtak.

While releasing the manifesto, Nadda emphasised that Haryana has marched on the path of progress during the BJP-led government. "You will clearly see Haryana has changed and the difference is visible," Nadda said.

Before the release of the manifesto, Saini said the "sankalp patra" would focus on the youth, poor, farmers, and women.

- The Nayab Singh Saini-led BJP has promised scholarships for Haryana students belonging to OBC, and SC communities in any govt medical or engineering college across the country and scooters for college-going girls in rural areas.

- The BJP has also promised to provide 2 lakh government jobs for the youth. 

- The party has promised to provide cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500 under the Har Ghar Grihini Yojna.

- The party has also promised to provide Rs 2,100 cash monthly to all women in the state. 

- Establishment of 10 industrial cities modeled after the Industrial Model Township in Kharkhoda.

- Purchase of 24 crops at Minimum Support Price to ensure farmers' financial security.

- Construction of five lakh houses in both urban and rural areas.

 -The party has also promised full scholarships to students of OBC and SC castes from Haryana studying medicine and engineering from any government college in India.

- The party has also asserted to guarantee loans up to Rs 25 lakh for all OBC category entrepreneurs, in addition to the Mudra Scheme.
