To ensure smooth travel during Holi 2026, Indian Railways will operate several special trains connecting key cities, the railway announced on Tuesday.
The 05559 Raxaul-Udhna Special will depart Raxaul on March 7 at 5:30 am, reach Lucknow at 3 pm, and arrive at Udhna at 12:35 pm the next day. On the return leg, 05560 Udhna-Raxaul Special will leave Udhna on March 8 at 3:35 pm, pass Lucknow at 2:30 pm the following day, and reach Raxaul at 12:15 am. The train will include four general coaches, seven sleeper coaches, six third AC, two second AC, and one first/second AC coach.
The 07075 Hyderabad-Gorakhpur Special will run every Friday from March 6 to 27, departing Hyderabad at 9 pm. It will stop at Nagpur, Aishbagh, Lucknow City, Gomtinagar, and reach Gorakhpur at 6:30 am on Sunday. Its return service, 07076 Gorakhpur-Hyderabad Special, will depart Gorakhpur every Sunday from March 8 to 29 at 8:30 am, passing Gomtinagar, Lucknow City, Aishbagh, Nagpur, and reaching Hyderabad at 5:25 pm. The train will have four second AC, eight third AC, six sleeper, and two general coaches.
Additionally, the 04652/04651 Amritsar-Jaynagar Humsafar Clone Holi Special will have extended operations. It will now run 13 trips from Amritsar (March 1-29) and 14 trips from Jaynagar (March 1-31) with pre-scheduled stops and timings.
