IRCTC Train Cancellations: Travellers planning train journeys in April and May should be prepared for some inconvenience, as 12 key trains are scheduled to be cancelled on various dates. These include popular services like the Darbhanga–Secunderabad Express, Dhanbad–Bhubaneswar Special, and Maurya Express. Additionally, some weekly trains will also remain suspended during this period.

However, there’s good news too. To handle the summer rush, Indian Railways has introduced 21 summer special trains via Dhanbad and Gomoh. These will operate until June and offer much-needed relief for passengers heading to major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Jammu, Kanpur, and Puri. More special trains may also be announced soon on busy routes.
