A passenger bus suddenly overturned on Sunday in the Khamaria police station area, leaving more than 15 passengers injured. The bus, bearing registration number MP 20 PA 0914, was en route from Jabalpur to Dindori when the incident occurred.

Accident Details And Rescue

The accident took place in the afternoon after the bus had crossed Ranjhi and reached near the OFK Hospital. The crash triggered panic and screaming among the passengers. Police teams from Ranjhi and Khamaria arrived at the scene immediately. They rescued the passengers trapped inside the vehicle and transported the injured to the nearby OFK and Ranjhi hospitals for treatment.

High Speed Blamed For Crash

After receiving primary treatment, two critically injured passengers were referred to the District Victoria Hospital. The police have launched an investigation into the matter. Preliminary inquiries reveal that the bus was travelling at a high speed, which caused the driver to lose control, resulting in the accident.
