Jaipur Car Crash: A speeding Audi allegedly driven by a school student crashed into two cars in Jaipur on Tuesday evening, injuring two people, police said. The teenager, reportedly around 15 to 16 years old, claimed to be the son of Congress MLA Rajkumar Sharma.
According to a NDTV report, the incident occurred near Maharana Pratap Circle, where the Audi, reportedly travelling at around 150 kmph, rammed into a Maruti Swift from behind, pushing it onto a divider. The impact left the smaller vehicle severely damaged.
Pulkit Pareek, who was driving the Swift and his friend sustained injuries in the crash. According to an NDTV report, Pareek, who filed the FIR stated that, he was carrying blood from a blood bank for his brother-in-law when the accident occurred. After the collision, his car hit a raised platform on the divider. Both occupants were taken to a hospital, where Pareek received seven stitches on his head. They were later discharged after treatment.
Pareek alleged that the Audi driver became aggressive after the accident and threatened them, claiming he was an MLA’s son. “He told us to take some money and get the car repaired,” Pareek said, adding that the teenager tried to assault him.

According to the police, the airbags of the Audi deployed after the crash. One of the other damaged cars left the spot and its driver has not filed a complaint.
Pareek said the police have asked him to appear at the station to record his detailed statement. He has demanded strict action against the underage driver.
Police confirmed that an FIR has been registered and an investigation is underway to verify the teenager’s identity and the ownership of the vehicle.
