LPG Price Cut: The Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) brought relief to LPG customers by cutting down the price of LPG cylinders from July 1. The rates of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders were brought down by Rs 58.50 in Delhi, Rs 58 in Mumbai and Rs 57 in Kolkata. Though the rates of 14-kg domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged.

According to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the revised rates of commercial LPG will be implemented from today onwards, i.e. July 1.
LPG Cylinder Rates In Delhi
As per the revised rates, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has been brought down by Rs 58.50 per cylinder. Earlier, it was available for Rs 1723.50, and now it will be sold at Rs 1665.
LPG Cylinder Rates In Mumbai
Starting July 1, the commercial LPG cylinders will be sold at Rs 1616.50 in Mumbai, cutting down the rates by Rs 58, similar to Delhi. Earlier, it was priced at Rs 1674.50 per cylinder.
LPG Cylinder Rates In Kolkata
Earlier, the price of a 19-kg commercial cylinder in Kolkata was Rs 1826, while the new rate is Rs 1769. The price of the commercial cylinder was brought down by Rs 57 per cylinder.
LPG Cylinder Rates In Chennai
The price of commercial LPG cylinders was also brought down in Chennai. The revised rate is Rs 1823.50 per cylinder, whereas the older rate was Rs 1881.
No Change In Rates Of Domestic Cylinder
The Oil Marketing Companies made no changes in the rates of domestic LPG cylinders. The rates of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder remain unchanged from April 8. The domestic LPG cylinder is priced at Rs 853 in Delhi, Rs 879 in Kolkata, Rs 852.50 in Mumbai and Rs 868.50 in Chennai.
The OMCs review and revise the rates of LPG cylinders every month, focusing on international prices of Crude oil, the status of Indian currency and other market conditions. The significant price cut brought relief to the hotels, restaurants, dhabas and commercial institutions, which use commercial gas cylinders in large quantities.
