Pune Porsche Accident: As the demand for justice intensifies following the death of two IT professionals, who were mowed to death by a 17-year-old boy driving a Porsche, the Pune Police on Thursday questioned the teenager’s grandfather, driver and friend to piece together the sequence of events on the night before the hit-and-run incident.
Meanwhile, the police custody of the three accused Naman Pralhad Bhutda, the owner of Cosie restaurant, its manager Sachin Katkar, and the manager of Blak Club Hotel Sandip Sangle — who were remanded on Tuesday in the car accident, ends today. They were reportedly accused of serving alcohol to the juvenile who was allegedly driving the luxurious car. The boy’s father, Pune-based real estate developer, Vishal Agrawal, was also arrested in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad after a case was registered against him on Monday.

- The Pune Police on Thursday questioned the teen's grandfather and friend about the horrifying car hit-and-run event. They also performed a forensic examination on the car to gather evidence.
- The 17-year-old boy, son of Pune-based real estate developer Vishal Agarwal, on Tuesday, rammed a high-end Porsche Taycan into a motorcycle near the Kalyani Nagar area of the city, leading to the immediate deaths of two young IT professionals identified as Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhia, both from Madhya Pradesh.
- The teen’s father, and the bar owners, who are currently in police custody, were being subjected to intense grilling before the term of their custody expires on Friday. The accused will be produced in a court which would decide on an extension of custody for leads in the case, as reported by news agency ANI.
- The police officials confirmed that they had seized the mobile phone of the accused teen's father, adding that they were in the process of checking his call details. After the questioning on Thursday, the police asked the juvenile's grandparent to appear for questioning again before the Crime Branch.
- Meanwhile, several people took to social media platforms and alleged that the 17-year-old boy was served "pizzas and burgers" in custody following the incident on May 19. However, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has denied these allegations, as reported by India Today.
