The Ramotsav Yatra, a religious rally to celebrate the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir, is set to start from Indore on January 14. The Ramotsav Yatra will first travel to Rameshwaram in the south and then depart for Ayodhya following the forest path that Lord Ram took during his 14 years of exile as described in Ramayan. 

The religious rally will be joined by more than 500 popular social media influencers from across the country, along with prominent politicians and writers. The yatra will reach Ayodhya after about a month and will be welcomed by the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Champat Rai.

The Ramotsav yatra will be led by Shri Ram’s chariot, whose design is being prepared. The Yatra will also feature cultural programs related to Lord Ram, recitation of Hanuman Chalisa and flag salutation of Bajrang Bali every day.

Influencers To Create Content On Theme 'Adventure Life Of Shri Ram'

The internet media influencers will collect and broadcast facts related to the places where Lord Ram spent time, according to Valmiki Ramayana. They will also explore many places that are unexplored so far and create content on the theme ‘Adventure Life of Shri Ram’.

Convenor of Ramotsav Yatra Organization Malay Dixit said that this will be the first time when such a large number of social media influencers will undertake a religious yatra together. He said that the youth will be introduced to all the places related to Lord Ram between Ayodhya and Rameshwaram.

List Of Celebrities To Join Ramotsav Yatra 

Some of the celebrities who will participate in the yatra are actor Sunil Shetty, politician Smriti Irani, social media influencer Amit Bhadana, Elvish Yadav, Kapil Mishra, Tejinder Pal, Hyderabad MLA T. Raja and MLA Kailash Vijayvargiya. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will also accompany the yatra for some time.
