In an unfortunate incident, a final-year student of R G Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata died under mysterious circumstances in a hospital in Malda on Saturday, police said.

The family of the deceased has accused her boyfriend of being responsible for the death. The deceased's boyfriend is a junior doctor at the Malda Medical College and Hospital.

The deceased, identified as Anindita Soren (24), was a final year student of RG Kar Medical College, where a postgraduate trainee doctor was allegedly raped and killed last year.
