Udaipur Rape Case: A woman in Udaipur last week reportedly became the victim of a gang-rape by her colleagues in a moving car following a birthday party. The horrifying incident allegedly took place on the night of December 20 in Udaipur and has led to the arrest of three individuals: the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a private IT firm, who is said to have hosted the party, a female employee of the same firm, and her husband. The survivor worked as a manager at the same IT company.

Udaipur Rape Case: Shocking Details Emerge

- According to a report by India Today, the Udaipur-based IT firm, where the CEO allegedly committed the crime with the help of an employee, has given itself an impressive rating of 4.7 out of 5 on woman-friendliness.

- The incident reportedly took place after the survivor attended a birthday and year-end party hosted by the company’s CEO at a hotel in Shobhagpura. Following the party, a female employee of the same firm, along with her husband (a resident of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh), are said to have been involved in the crime under the guise of offering to drop the survivor home, as per the woman’s complaint.

- The survivor, who was a manager at the IT firm, stated that the female employee, Shilpa Sirohi, the executive head, offered to take her home after other guests had left. She then led her to the car where the other two accused were already waiting, according to the report by PTI.

- During the drive, the accused allegedly stopped at a shop and bought something resembling cigarettes, offering it to the survivor. After consuming it, she reportedly lost consciousness. However, HT had earlier reported that the woman claimed the accused purchased alcohol and forcibly made her drink, causing her to lose consciousness.

- The survivor later woke up to a horrifying scene, she was allegedly assaulted by all three accused, despite her attempts to resist. She further claimed that when she fully regained consciousness, her earrings, socks, and undergarments were missing, and she noticed injuries to her private areas. According to her complaint, she was kept in the car for the rest of the night before being dropped off at her home around 5 am the following morning.

- The woman went for a medical examination at a private hospital after experiencing severe pain and weakness, which confirmed that she had been sexually assaulted. Following this, she filed a police report, leading to a case being registered at the Sukher police station under the section 70(1) and other sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

- Police officials also said the car's dashcam, which allegedly recorded both audio and video of the incident, has emerged as a crucial piece of evidence in the ongoing investigation.

- All accused were arrested on Thursday and have been remanded to a four-day police custody after being produced before a court.
